Fighting over delivery of my Magic Jack

I got the initial email stating they were sending it with a confirmation number for USPS... this is the number I was given in my email 9101805213907376987765 if you go to www.usps.com and track it, you will see it was sent to OREGON.....simple right? I live in Alabama! MagicJack is shipped out of Florida, one state away!

Now i've used the online chat 3 times, and I have 2 of the three conversations recorded and sent to my email.

today I talked to someone named "LUCKY"...who ended up to be a liar when he told me that the tracking number DID NOT SHOW THE PACKAGE WENT TO OREGON. His name needs to be changed to "LIAR". In our conversation at first he asked for the order number and he preceded to give me my correct Alabama address, and the same tracking/confirmation number that I got in the email.

after a half hour he said to give it a few hours for them to further investigate it... same thing I heard the first time i contacted them. I asked him if he even bothered to run the tracking number he had given me to see I was not lying about not getting the device..... he ended the conversation without even answering....

I'm soo Pissed, I even paid for a year up front......I don't know what I can do now..... I don't need this......


Any ideas????

ME: the first person I talked to said that..and i never heard from your company, and i had to come back and talked to ivy
ME: my email was dated the 2nd by the way and the tracking number said delivered on the 4th to oregon
ME: Did you try the tracking number and see I'm not lying about it going to oregon?
ME: your just gonna leave me hanging now aren't you?

Thats your problem right there. I live in Texas, we are both in sovereign states, the MJ ships from Florida, a territory of New York.

I'm so mad, I can't even cancel the trial, and get my money back because I don't even have a device to return.

My friend who lives in alabama got hers in 3 days

HINT: Use a greendot VISA or MASTERCARD. Have money on the card when you signup, then extract the money after you sign up.

Hey, whats not honest about it, it only keeps you in control of YOUR money! I am not saying don't pay, I am saying don't let yourself get ripped off. Big companies use every legal means to steal from you every single day. Play by their rules, if it is not illegal than you are playing fair, period.

My friend got hers in 3 days I had no clue they would be like this...never had a problem like this before and I'm an avid online shopper.... Thats what I get for having faith

Setting aside my above comments, being an online shopper requires patience. I like to order, forget, and be surprised. Not an easy thing to do. But my above comment, make sure that you understand the difference between dishonesty and covering your hind end. You said yourself that you don't need this. I am telling you how to avoid that.

Thank you for the offer, as of last night at 1am (this being my 5th try), they switched the chat up to a "higher lvl of tech service"..This guy was great, I got straight to the point, and checked out what I said, and said apologized several times, and they are supposed to have another one on its way. But if I don't have it in a few days, I might take you up on your offer. :D

I too have not received my Magic Jack I think they are Jacking me off... Everytime I try and call them phone number on my Credit Card... it says the Voice Mail Box is Full and cannot accept any more messages. They say it was delived but no MagicJack. I order on line at the website paid in advance for 5 years and they tell me that I can't even get that money back until I return the Magic Jack but of course I don't have it. Help from anyone would be much appreciated.

Before I made my final attempt last night with online chat, I emailed [email protected] (company owner I think), I got the email address from another section of this forum/site. I suggest you do the same. The email did get passed to someone named Robert, but Robert says they have 2 day, Fed Ex'd a magic jack to me. He even gave me the tracking number. And sure enough I checked it and it was shipped today and should arrive tomorrow....

I was very polite yet fed up in my email, stating I would cancel the trial, but don't even have the device to return..... tell them all the extents you have gone thru trying to get through to someone to help.

Tomorrow will tell all.......

The post office can say where it was delivered to. Maybe your neighbor is getting free long distance now. It'd be worth a check just to see. If you didn't get it, I'd suggest filing a claim and at least getting the post office to explain where it is and why it's not at your house.

their ordering and shipping is really bad. When I got to the confirmation page it was a totally different shipping address. I had to use live chat to correct it. I got the MJ in 3 days but the address on the package had misspellings and missing information. If the mailman didn't know me it would have got lost in the mail.

its not magicjack i suspect it to be ups . i order a magic jack and never recived it yet it been 5 days i payed for 3day delivery . the problem would be ups , magicjack has to change delivery service . i ordered things in the past and never recived them when delivered with ups . I just ordered a magicjack and i hope they never used ups or i will never get it .
my last thing i ordered was cod they sent it though ups and it did not find me for a month . when i get though post office its always on time same with fedx . ups is bad .

Oh and UPS is always on time... I made around 26 online purchases this year and 18 of them was delivered by UPS and all 18 times was either early then suspected or on time. No problems with UPS on my end.

I agree. UPS is great. This is what MJ should be using. At least you know where your package is at all times. USPS has been saying the same thing since the 15th and that is that it left Palm Beach FL. I have no clue where it is now, but it didn't come in the mail today. Hopefully on Monday. And YES UPS is always on time or even early.

ups is only good if you live in a citi . when you are in small town it is the worst . they even report the reciver as not there when i was there all day long i end up haveing to go to a pick up spot which takes about a month to do .

YOU just don't pay for it!!!!!!!!! If you cannot get thru by phone to your card company...wait till you get the bill deduct that amount from your payment and put a note in it explaining the situation...They in turn will contact MJ....Too many people will not stand up for themselves....Just because they are a BIG socall company,,,they think they have to get on their knees....NOT true...If you are right ...but the burden back on them....I think MJ has a year warranty on it..does it not.????...
