Current Status of MagicJack and the UAE-Dubai

Good day everyone! I'm a newbie here. Just one quick question. I live in Dubai, and we have internet filters here because voip infringes upon their monopoly. Does anyone have any experience ( current,as of November 2011) of MagicJack working here, before i invest in their hardware??? Thank you.

There are ways to get around it, but you will have to do some research. I never needed it, that's why I never studied the issue.
