Having trouble with initial set up

I have been able to register the magic jack online. n I have plugged it into the computer, I have plugged it into the jack, without success, what am I missing?

Confused?????

If I understand correctly, you have an MJ (not MJ+). You logged on on your PC as an administrator and plugged it into a USB port, and went through MJ registration. Now you are registered.

Is the softphone is up and running?

OBTW, what OS are your running? Router? Personal firewall?

Into the jack??? I "assume" you mean into the phone wall jack? If so you FIRST have to disconnect the TelCO from your box outside or you will fry your MJ. If that is not what you meant then you have to plug a phone ( be it corded or cordless into that jack on your MJ)
Repost again what you have done in more detail as we do not have enough info to help you.
