"Remove Disk or Other Media" error

Post by dexterdoo »

Brand new computer with Windows 7 Home Premium installed and that's the message I get. Computer won't boot unless I remove the MJ. Then after computer boots up you can plug in the MJ and it'll work fine! Haven't been able to find the solution but refuse to believe that I'm the only person on the planet with this problem??

P.S. This MJ never had a problem when used with XP .......

Check your C.M.O.S. ( BIOS) to make sure "boot from USB" is not enabled. Some motherboards will not boot ( mine does not) if that is set and the MJ dongle is plugged in.

Sorry Joe, I forgot to mention that I had already checked the BIOS!
