Hello,
For about a week I'm not able to use my Magicjack. The Dialpad does not show up and Magicjack Tech Support is useless.
Magicjack shows up as a a drive and a CD Drive in My Computer but the Drive appears to be blank?
I've tried the "upgrade" link provided by magicjack but no use.
Any help to fix this is greatly appreciated!
(This is Magicjack Plus) |

When you connect a telephone to the MJ can you dial out and/or receive calls on the phone? Do you routinely run "maintenance" software - like disk cleanup, disk optimizer, Ccleaner, etc. - but possibly have not taken care to make sure that they do NOT try to do maintenance routines on your MJ's virtual "drive"? Have you recently installed ANY new software onto your computer? (- hint
- Make sure this stuff, if you do it, is handled properly and carefully so as to not involve the MJ device and/or its virtual drive(s).
Aside from that, I'd try unplugging your MJ from the pc, uninstalling and deleting all MJ-related software from the pc, then plugging the MJ device back into your Internet-connected pc and see if it re-downloads/installs the software. If your device is a MJ+, try connecting it directly to your router or modem (with a telephone connected directly to the MJ+) and see if it works under *those* conditions. |
