Hi there, first post....
We've had a magicjack (not plus) for 9 months now. For the last month, my wife's cell phone has been unable to call our home (magicjack) phone. Her cell's area code is 949 (CA), but she is calling locally to our local 623 (AZ) number.
The cell phone gives a recorded message that the carrier has routed this as a local call but should be long distance. We've called T-Mobile, but they say it is a magicjack problem.
Funny thing is, it starts working in the evening, and on weekends. Our T-mobile service has free nights and weekends, but the hours don't correspond exactly, so I think it is just coincidence.
Does anyone know if this is a T-mobile or Magicjack problem, and what can be done?
Thanks for your help!
can't call magicjack long distance from t-mobile.
