can't alphabetize contact list

I've read posts that say rebooting MJ or the computer will sort the contact list alphabetically but I've had this for three months and it's still in the input order for my contacts.

If I look up "contact list" on my majicjack account, they're nicely sorted by name, but not on my desktop. What am I doing wrong?

Also, if I click on the "x" box to close majicJack, it doesn't shut down. It just minimizes the screen. I have to go to taskmanager to shut it down. Can't be good to keep doing this. Advice?

It would be on a FIFO (First In, First Out)setup

If you are referring to the contact list in the dialler window in the tray of your desktop, my experience has been that it displays in the order of data in the 'Last Name' field.

If you want to put a company name in, put it in the 'Last Name' field and it will be properly sorted.
