"I have 2 problems"
Just a little searching here will answer the question about not
connecting to phone exchanges. Where?
Need more information about MJ or MJ+.
How are you connected to the internet? What internet?
What router?
A little looking a a few posts may even help you with that too.

Magic jack and Netflix and conference message

Post by bjhumes »

The number I dialed that gets conference message is located in Newton County Arkansas just 100 or more miles from me 870 area code then 434 number. The Magic Jack Plus attached to my 2 wire Gateway modem from ATT which I used with my
OLDER Magic Jack but on Dell computer then. The rest is same phones, same internet service....any ideas what is wrong. I was told by Netflix I need a splitter/filter from ATT for $20 but I have not checked on it yet. I'll get rid of Netflix before I do that and rarely get phone calls but it did happen first time we watched Netflix movie.

"conference message is located in Newton County Arkansas"
That number block belongs to Tri-County Telephone, a small
rural carrier that gets higher call termination fees that Ymax won't
pay for. Get a Google Voice number and use it to make those
kind of calls to work around the MJ issue. Search here for more info.

Please check your Voip quality and download speed with the Voip
test links such as Googling visualware speed tests.
You may not have the quality or speed of service you are
expecting with ATT.
