trace an IP of a magic jack

My computer with the magic jack, (and everything else in my house) was stolen the other day. The magic jack is up and running, as I can phone the number and leave a message and retrieve the message, which I assume means the computer and magic jack have been reconnected to the internet since it was stolen. Is there any way I can find out what IP address it is now connected to?

You assume wrong. It's no different than if your power went out, people can still call and leave messages. The device does not need to be connected to your computer or your computer connected to the internet for that to happen.
