Using MJ from Holland?????????

Post by alcheringa »

Any tips on using MJ from Holland?
Anyone specifically report that it is working from there?
Wife over there with laptop and MJ, which was activated and worked well in US and from the Bahamas. Only problem using from the Bahamas was that it would not connect with a SKYPE US number that was physically in the Bahamas.
Now she is trying to call a US Vonage number that is physically located in the Bahamas

She is getting an onscreen message that says something like nonusable out of the US.

TIA

i use my mj in the czech republic, and have no problems at all. i call home to the states all the time, and the call signal is as clear as a bright sunny day.
Thank you MagicJack. It is great being in Europe and not having to pay for a telephone call.

Just out of curiosity, how well does it work? I have great success with my MJ but most of my calls are local and all are within CONUS. Any problems with echo, latency, volume, etc.?

Yes, all of the above, but as the calls are free, we just call again till we get a good connex.
Sometimes it will take a few calls.

Does magicJack work in Dutch or is it English only?

Okay, but frankly, that's not unlike my cell phone and I have to pay every time I connect. I would be willing to live with that as long as you could eventually get a good connection. Thanks for the feedback.

Laserjobs......are you for F****** real?
You must be joking?
Of course it is in DUTCH only.
But it could depend on which language you speak into your telephone.
When i get calls from Ozztralia they are in 'Strine', a local tongue.

laserjobs... hehe. dude, i am american and understand absolutely no czech; however, it is in czech and i speak czech because i am in the czech republic. the moment the magicjack crossed the atlantic, went through customs, and made it into my hands, the label on the back of the device literally turned from english writing into czech writing. go figure. cool huh? hehe

to be quite honest..... every call i have made has been near perfect if not perfect. the only time i ever had problems with a call was when i was doing a very labor intensive task on my system while talking on the phone. and trust me, very few people use such labor intensive tasks as i do. i render 3d on my system, and even with a max of 100 percent over 4 cpus and 8 gb of ram maxed out due to rendering, magicjack still tries hard to work fine. unfortunately, maya overcomes most system processes.
