Renewal may not be for a full year ????

MJP expired last month, but just renewed today for $29.95.
However, renewal date is not reset to the date you renew ???
In other words, I only get 11-months for my $29.95.

The 12 months start from the date your original MJ license expired. This issue has been covered in the forum many times already.
