I can hear who I call, but they can't hear me. What's the problem.

dean881,

Look in this post and take a look at the dcument I posted. I am apparently in a betting mood tonight so my money says if you set everthing up like I suggest in the document it will work fine and they will hear you and vise versa.

Your advice doesn't help because I don't know what to search for. I'm sorry I'm not as smart as you, but, real help would be appreciated. Just wondered if others has similar problems as me & could give me some useful advice. Sorry if I wasted your time.

Thanks for the help. Did exactly what your directions said, but, the person on the other end still could not hear me. Was using it with satellite internet & maybe that is the issue.

dean881,

Satellite, Hmmm - that in itself could be a difficult problem. The only thing I know about them is they have a terrible latency time. What kind of up load/down load speeds to you get. Nah for what I have said. I don't think those thing would effect volume only quality.

Have you gone on the MJ site and run the MagicFIX and install the Vista update (the Vista update is used regardless of you M$ OS. It is used for XP and Vista). Anyway I am starting to get suspicious of maybe a defective lot coming out of MJ. I have never heard this too quiet problem until the last week or two.

If MagicFix doesn't help you I would contact Tech Support (I know you would rather walk on glass bare footed) it may be your only alternative. See if you can talk them into a replacement unit if some of these last minute suggestions don't help.

Let me know how it goes - I sure would like to know what is causing this sudden rash of low volume issues.

But it appears that your last two posts were made via a Comcast cable connection. Is that correct? If so, did that fix the problem with MJ?

Hey, it's not fair  Admin "sees" more stuff regular users couldn't see. How do I apply for "Admin" class of user? 8)

No fair! how do I apply for LikeMagic class user, because you obviously see more than I do. How did/do you know that "dean881" is an administrator?

I didn't say dean881 was an admin. I meant Stewart, he's an admin  Are you having another "senior moment"?

"Senior Moment" they do tend to come in bunches but in this case I think you are trying to "Gas-Light" me.

OK then how do you know that Stewart is an Administrator?

I think you'd better get your bi-focal or progressive lens checked again
