Recording calls by Primary Accountholder

Post by Genie2013 »

Does the primary accountholder have the capability of monitoring and recording phone conversations of accounts under his name?

I am asking because I am only an added user with a different phone number but since I am not the primary accountholder and I have read that calls can be recorded, I am afraid that since the primary accountholder can have access to my call logs, he can also have a way of recording my phone conversations. Would that be possible?

If so, is there a way to know if my phone conversation is being recorded while using the magic jack?

I certainly appreciate your reply on this. Thank you so much.

Answer is NO - assuming, of course, that your physical phone line (or cordless phone transmissions) have not been "tapped," that you're not using a multi-handset phone system wherein more than one handset can be "connected" to the same phone call, etc.
Using a "standard" magicJack, an "original" magicJack Plus, and the magicJack iOS app on an iPod Touch and iPhone
