Has anybody have more information on the new ugraded MJ+ being offerd. The email says you can keep your old number but what about ported numbers and I have paid for 5 years.
So far I am using the MJ+ as my main phone with a small box fan to keep it cool and it has been working fine so far ( 2 years as main phone ) so not sure I need to upgrade for better voice quality.
Any suggestions.
Also I have not been here for a while when did you change from Mj suport to phone service support.
Thanks Brit

Just got back from my morning walk and figured there is no point in upgrading. Voice quality so far is fine for me. My hearing is not as good as it was anyway, waiting for my Costco hearing aids.
Also voice quality depends on the other persons equipment as well, if they have a bad phone you only get half of your better quality

Re: New magicjack pluss
I got an email about the new 2014 MagicJack Plus. Since I have been a magicjack user since 2008 and have upgraded each time, I have decided to again upgrade the 2014 magicJack Plus. The new dongle is slightly larger then the original MJ+ with an attached 2 USB ports and an SD card slot. I am not sure what these ports are for, but my guess it have some use later. My thoughts on the new device is that the voice quality is much better and it is not that the original MJ+ voice was not good, but I know the original MJ+ beeping sound. I find the 2014 MJ+ with no beeping at all. For what we save every month to yearly by using the MJ as our home phone, it is cheap to upgrade if needed.brit wrote:Has anybody have more information on the new ugraded MJ+ being offerd.
