I recently got my first MJ and it is working VERY well. I like it. The one thing that is a little annoying is that when I dial a number, either from the attached phone, or their softphone it seems to dial it VERY slowly. Looks like 2 seconds per digit.
For example, I can dial the ten digit number that I want to call and then I see the digits come up one at a time, slowly in the softphone. Anyone else see this? Anyone have a solution?
Their chat does not seem to!

Might want to open up a command prompt on your computer and run MSCONFIG. See if you can shut down some unwanted programs that might be hogging your system's resources. I just did that on my Sister in Law's computer. She had yahoo messenger, limewire, adobe acrobat, myspace chat program, ICQ, a casino game with adware, MS Messenger, and a bunch of other little programs. Then she wonders why it took 5 minutes for her machine to boot up.. lol

I see the same issue on my laptop & desktop, and both are the latest and the greatest...very odd. I guess we get what we pay forenotz wrote:I recently got my first MJ and it is working VERY well. I do now know that it is the magicJack softphone though because when I use it with another one, which is what I now do, I have no speed issue

I'm sure that 3MB memory is a typo. That would not even be enuff to fire up the start button light.enotz wrote:machine is fast enough for all other things. 3MB memory, dual code 64 bit 2.7G AMD processor, very few extra services - long since closed them down
