What should the magicfix look like when it's running? With Opera it says unsupported browser, with IE it asks to install ActiveX, I do, then the box becomes a red X. What am I doing wrong?
BTW, the issue I'm trying to fix is some crackling and breaking up on both sides. I think it might just be my TERRIBLE Time Warner cable service, as it works better at night, but still aggrivating.

The Red X is Java's way of saying something in the Java environment is broken.
Go to Java.com and run the test to see if your Java is installed correctly and that it is the current version.
The whole MagicFIX thing is a Java application and it pushes the limits or what normal security settings will allow. You may have to put that page in your trusted sites to get it to work correctly.

Re: MagicFix
You either have no java, java disabled or an outdated java... go to http://www.java.com and download the latest java.nester024 wrote:What should the magicfix look like when it's running?
