email about raising prices
i got an email from magicjack to pay by June 15 if i want the old prices.the new prices are $35 for 1 month and $120 a year.a little better notice would have been nice but oh well.
I received the same email giving me less than 5 days notice of a price increase. The frustrating thing is I just renewed for 1 year a week ago. I didn't then and don't now see any value add to support the price increase to $29.95/$99.95 let alone the $35/$120 prices. MJ as a company is going through a lot of changes with their pricing and marketing. See this article

While the price increase is not a killer, it seems Vocaltec MagicJack is sailing without a rudder. As I take a step back and think about it, where else can I get home phone service for less than $3/month.

it's basically that simple...they're giving the original customers now a chance to save $20 is what it comes down to, so you can stay with your 5 years now, or add 5 more for the next 10 years and save $20, or more even if they raise the prices againPilot wrote:I too received this email, but why... I am already pre-paid for 5 years to 2019... do they expect me to pay more...... to 2024 ? ;>)

Used to be $1.75 / month back in 2007.good4life wrote:I received the same email giving me less than 5 days notice of a price increase. The frustrating thing is I just renewed for 1 year a week ago. Now it will be over $ 3.05 / month (with the famous MJ reg. fees etc.)
Of course inflation for these 7 years = 74.3 % !!!!!
