Reporting back....using MJ from Holland...

Post by alcheringa »

Reporting back .......MJ from Holland...my wife was having some issues.
Wireless connex from hotel.
It will work.
Turned out that it was the cheap Innovage phone.
It is possible to call from Holland to US MJ number but the connex varies greatly and may have to call several times to get a good connex..........

Sorry to hear this! Good luck in getting your problems corrected. I'm fairly new, so I don't have any advice for you!!

One thing to keep in mind, is the Speed Offered by the Hotel Service....

Eg. If speeds are anything like the ones reported in this blog post http://andyabramson.blogs.com/voipwatch ... otels.html

chances of a bad connection are high, not neccessarily due to MagicJack's fault, but rather that it tends to use g711u and g729a codecs, which although ensure voice quality, are also bandwith intensive

A site like speedtest.net can give an idea on what sort of connection you are dealing with
