I am trying to connect an autodial IP phone (Viking E-30-IP) to a VoIP service provider.
I have an account with CallCentric but cannot use this because the IP phone needs to connect to a specified IP address and CallCentric only provides connection to its domain name - callcentric.com.
Will using a Magic Jack Plus solve my problem? Does it allow a static IP address to be set that can then be specified in the phone configuration?
Will they communicate with each other if both plugged into the same LAN via the ethernet cable? Without the USB port or phone port being used?
