no local area code

because my area code is not availabe will my friends be charged for a long distance call when they call me from their landline? :cry:

This seems to be the big obstacle to using MJ for receiving calls. My area code is listed but the city is 200 miles away! That means a charge to a local party calling me. ugh.

Something to think about, if you have to pick an area code that is long distance to you and your family, you might want to consider choosing an area code OUTSIDE of your state, most long distance carriers charge much more to INSTATE long distance. If you are having to pick an area code that would be long distance anyway, consider this, it will cost your family to have to call you anyhow, make it cheaper on them by choosing outside your state.
