No real issues with my new MagicJack. But curious about the following three things.
I connected my new MagicJack to one of the front USB ports of my desktop. It installed fine and works okay. However, I regret using a front port and now wish to connect it one of the rear ports. What will be the consequence of switching ports, i.e., will MagicJack attempt to reinstall, quit working, etc.?
What can I expect to happen when I move the MagicJack device from my old PC to my new one?
During the install process I was informed that within two hours an email would appear in my in-box, to which I would have to respond or my account would be terminated. To the best of my knowledge I never received this email. Is this going to create a problem with service?

Hogawood.... others may be able to offer a more detailed and technical response, but here's my experience. I pretty much yank the darn thing out and stick it where ever I please. My one tired, old desktop computer at home has only a single USB port in the front, so that's where the MJ goes.
My other desktop has three in the front, and I plug it in to whichever one is open. I have a laptop at work with 3 USB ports on the side and each seems to work.
It's been a while since I plugged one into a computer for the first time, but if I remember it goes through the same start up sequence as when you remove it and replace it in the port; i.e., nothing extraordinary happens, as I recall.
One last comment... yesterday I had the experience where my MJ was stuck in the headset mode for some mysterious reason, since I don't use a headset with it. I searched the forum and found a fix and everything's back to normal.

Three Quasi-Technical Questions
Thanks, Darkman. Your reply says it all. Now I feel assured that whether I relocate my MagicJack connection to another USB port or another PC entirely, it'll continue to work.
BTW, I attempted to get answers to my three questions directly from MagicJack. However, the way their "Live Chat" is currently configured they assume you that if you want a chat session then you must have and problem. As a condition of opening a session they seem to require you to run their fixes first. I didn't, because there was nothing wrong with my service (If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!). In fact, during installation I didn't run their sound quality optimizer but am getting good reports nevertheless.
