When MJ was hyped on the media, comments were made how MJ does not install itself and it would be ideal for travel for use on internet cafes and hotel computers. We now know that was a lie.
I would not want to infect anyones computer with magic jack. Does anyone know how to use MJ without installing the softphone which is almost impossible to remove?
Magic Jack without the softphone

ledweb,
I don't think it can be done without installing the softphone. And as far a an Internet Cafe, I can't imagine one would allow you to install software, so I would think the chances of using magic jack in a place like that would be slim to none.
I don't have too many complaints about MJ but the claim that it does not install any software is blatantly false.
