Voice messaging problems

I was able to set up my voice messages (both 'Unavailable' and 'Busy') successfully. But when anyone phones my MagicJack number they hear it ring about 8 times then they hear a canned message in a male voice saying the number cannot be connected and to try later. Is this a known MJ problem? Or have my callers just been unlucky enough to call when something was not working?

Were you able to call your MJ number from cell phone? Dialing full 10-digit or 11-digit number? Dialing 7-digits may not work in some areas for MJ.

After about an hour the voice mail started working. I guess it took a while after the greeting was recorded until it was actually available when someone called my MJ number.
