We purchased MJ after reading about it on this forum and other sites for about a month. We were fully prepared to either lose our $47 or challenge the charge on our credit card after reading all the horror stories about the product and customer service. I ordered MJ on a Monday and received it that Saturday with standard USPS shipping. I installed it on an old Dell computer with windows xp. Installation was basically a nobrainer and we were making and receiving calls in less than 10 minutes (another surprise considering all the complaints we heard). We have a middle of the road cable internet speed and are running the windows firewall plus the linksys router firewall with no problems so far. Once I was sure the system worked I disconnected the house phone line from the ATT junction box and plugged the MJ phone cord into a house extension and it is providing service to every phone in the house. I was a little worried that the usb port wouldn't provide enough power to run multiple phones in the house, but we can hear the calls just fine even when two people are using two different extensions on a call at the same time. Call quality has been good overall, but we have noticed the occassional choppiness when multiple people are hogging bandwidth on the computers. We haven't cancelled our ATT just yet, but if MJ continues to work this well I'll be dumping the landline with no second thoughts.

I was the exact same way. After my order, I kept asking myself, "Why did I just piss $40 down the drain?" After I received the product and found a phone number closer to home to clean up my sound quality, I love it too. I especially loved the fact that my MJ paid for itself and the extra year the first two weeks I owned one.
Windows Vista and Laptop with XP SP2 on the road. Occasionally, a Mac if my Windows machine isn't working.
