OK I knew this would happen and today is the day.
I try to place a call, I get the dial tone and then dial like normal, it does not ring and says "Waiting for proxy regis" on the little MJ screen.
After that it says "Please connect to the Internet, and double click here [error 3]" Well I am connected to the Internet cable modem and all. So I click there and it takes me to a pop-up that wants me to enter email and password to verify my existing account. I do so and it goes away and looks like it restarts the MJ and then says "Please restart your MJ and try again [error 401] I do as it says and the problem starts all over again. I have also restarted the computer a few times and unplugged the MJ and tried other USB ports a few times as well?
Anyone know whats going on here? I was using the MJ a few hours ago with no problem and now this? I have vast new computer and cable Internet. I'm calling out with a 703 number and it seems any number I call I get the same errors. Up until today my MJ has been working with never a problem for the past three months. Any help would be good, until then I'll just wait it out to see if it corrects itself.

Unplug MJ, disconnect AC power from your cable modem, wait a few seconds, plug in in again and wait for it to come ready. If you have a router, do the same to it. Make sure your PC can access the Web, then plug MJ in again. Does it show 'ready to call'? Show your correct phone number? If so, watch the status window closely and report what messages appear when you try to call. Also, report what proxy server your account is trying to use, if you know it.
