Hi,
Just received my MagicJack today. So far, so good, with the exception of a little static. I'm wondering if that is because I have wireless internet and a cordless phone. Do you think that switching to a corded phone would help?
Thanks
(my wireless connection is steady at 54mbps)
Edited to add: On ebay, I noticed that some MagicJacks were pink in color - is there any difference between the black and the pink aside from color?

If your cordless phone is an analog 2.4Ghz phone set then it may introduce interference to your 2.4Ghz router. If your cordless phone is a Digital Spread Spectrum (DSS, aka frequency hopping) 2.4Ghz system then it usually co-exists fine with the 2.4Ghz router. Other 5.8Ghz and newer DECT phones are reported working great along side with 2.4Ghz routers. But of course, your mileage may vary.
Also try a corded phone to see if your static go away then you'll know that your cordless phone may be an issue.

Have you tried to test your intenet connection for VOIP call handling? If not, try the following test site:
http://www.TestYourVoIP.com
Also, how did you test your MJ call? By holding your cell phone on one ear and MJ phone on the other ear? If so, cell phone active on a call would cause interference with a cordless phone if they are near each other.
