MJ failed to initialize

Any advice on this problem.

Softphone shows up, but on the left, I get " a page cannot be displayed msg." This is on a high performance desktop.

Installed fine on my laptops. All XP except the desktop is Home edition and the laptops are Pro.

(Don't ask why I got the Home edition, I guess I was feeling cheap at the time.)

Why don't you provide more details so that others could have more clues?

- Do you have any issue surfing the internet with Internet Explorer in general?
- did you get a phone number assigned to your MJ?
- which Windows version? XP with SP2? If not, download & apply SP2 and all patches.
- what is the model # of your router?

Try the followings:
- disable your firewall & any anti-virus programs
- check your Internet Explorer (IE) settings & set as follows:

In IE's Tools/Internet Options:

- tab Privacy: set this at Medium or Low. Also "Block pop-ups" should be unchecked temporarily
- tab Connections/LAN Settings: there should be NO check marks in this screen.

Then try to test your internet connection to see how well it could handle VOIP call, select test to Boston, SJ, etc:

And note any error it may give (such as retrying on port 6000).
