I noticed this problem wednesday. when will i be able to use my magicjack again? today i also got an add in the softphone that i will be receiving important updates within the next 60 second since 4 hours ago. and in the audio setup in the softphone i cannot select telephone option i can only use my sound cards for the the ring microphone and speaker. wtf??!?

The magicJack site is saying magicJack is temporarily offline for maintenance.
Please try again later. I have 2 of my 3 magicJacks working with the new Louisville area code 502 prefix 713
The 2 that are working have been on 24 hours a day. The 3rd magicJack is on a laptop that I turn off when not using.
The 3rd magicJack still has the Nashville, Tennessee area code and won't connect to the Internet as I also get a message in the softphone saying "Attention You are receiving a very important upgrade within the next 60 seconds Please do not dial during these upgrades. " Also there is a message saying "magicJack Please connect to the Internet, then double click here." After double clicking I get the following message "magicJack was unable to contact our registration server. Please check your internet connection. If you can browse other web pages, it means our server is temporarily down. Please restart your phone again in a few minutes. We apologize for any inconvenience." Note: the blue light is ON with all 3 of my magicJacks.
So, bigred850 it seem like we both have a similar problem. My situation been like this all day. Maybe later this weekend or Monday it will work. As it is I can't even get to the magicfix page to try anything with this situation.

I'm at home now and I still have the same problem with the magicJack on my laptop. I used logmein to check from home the office desktop computer that has a magicJack on it and it's still connected and working, but from that computer the magicJack site is still down. On a positive side the magicJack on my home desktop is running fine just like the office desktop. I called my father home and his magicJack is on all the time and is still working. So, the problem is the laptop I only turn on when I'm using it and that magicJack won't connect due to some problem on magicJack end. I don't dare reboot any of the desktops that have magicJack running correctly for fear of losing the connection. Let's hope the situation is fixed no later than Monday.
