Error! Shell command failed:

Each time I try to access help or Advanced Features Magicjack website, I receive the following error:
Error! Shell command failed:
"open http://www.magicjack.com"

Anybody know why I might be receiving this error?

From where do you get the error? From browser? IE or Firefox or from within magicJack softphone? This error indicates the "Open URL" command association is broken within the OS. You may need to reinstall Windows to repair this error.

Thanks for the reply. I get the message only from the magicjack soft phone. It works in every other aspect but will just not allow going to any other website from the options on the soft phone. I can access any of the sites from my default Firefox browser

Be sure your web browser is set to the same as when you installed magicjack. I had the same problem and had used Modzilla as my browser but my default is Internet Explorer. When I switched back to IE, it worked o.k.
