How to configure MTA 6328-2Re Sunrocket gizmo for MJ?
Ok. I used the internet link with my version and serial number listed and got my SIP info but now im having problems configuring my Innomedia MTA 6328 Sunrocket router to use with the service....
Under the VoIP section of the gizmo there is a subsection labeled SIP Proxy, in this section it has the following fields in this order:
SIP Proxy
Use Outbound Proxy(checkbox)
SIP Local Signaling Port
SIP Domain
Registration Expiration Time (sec.)
Preferred CODECs List(dix select boxes with the following options PCMU/8000,PCMA/8000,G729A/8000,G723/8000,G726-32/8000,G728/8000,G729/8000)
Thats all for that section...the only other section I thought might be relevant is the User Account seciton under VoIP which has the following fields in this order:
Line No.(select box with options 1,2)
User ID
User Password
Confirm Password
User Name
Authentication ID
Use Hot Phone Number (Select box with options Yes,No)
Hot Phone Number
Enable T38 FAX (Select box with options Yes,No)
With all this I have No idea how all this maps up to SIP info I got...I also realized there is another section worth mentioning under the IP Network section, its title "Provisioning Setting" and has the following options:
Enable Provisioning(checkbox)
Server Name
Port Number
Any help would be greatly appreciated...I wish I could figure this out on my own but im so scared that im going to try and im gunna mess something up heh...

PS Im an idiot
Ok So I didnt find the preevious post because of the way the model number was typed. However Stewart had a great method and it works excellently
The map is as follows:
Provisioning Setting section
Turn Provisioning Off
SIP Proxy settings
ATA setting on left matches to SIP credential on right:
SIP Proxy - ProxyDomain (include port, such as proxy1.blah.talk4free.com:5070) Stewart has this as 67.90.152.70:5070 which is what nashville resolves too, not sure about any of the other proxys...
Use Outbound Proxy should be checked
SIP Local signaling Port - 5060
SIP Domain - User Domain
Leave defaults for rest(Reg Exp Time - 60,Codecs PCMU/8000,PCMA/8000)
User Account Settings
User Id = ProxyUserName
User Password: ProxyUserPassword
Confirm Password: ProxyUserPassword
User Name: Anything
Authentication ID: ProxyUserName
Use Hot Phone Number should be set to No
Hot Phone Number should be blank
Enable T38 FAX should be set to No
Open port 5070 on your firewall and you should be good to go.
I got this information from a previous post I just didnt want to leave my question open making people think theres no way.

Im still looking for a way to use the line 2 feature on the InnoMedia. Anyone found a way to do this, other than the ViaTalk method, that doesn't really open the line 2 for configuring another MJ.. Help on this please..

Did you turn off provisioning? If not, you need to do that.codegrinder wrote:i set mine up and it worked for a few days and then stopped... when i unplugged it. i plugged the dongle in and made a successful test call. I unplugged the dongle and reattached the ata and its working again.
any ideas why?
