You can avoid the loader and desktop icon by starting magicjack.exe directly from a shortcut. The Target should look something like this:Substitute your user name for yourusername and the drive letter assigned to your MJ USB drive for F:.
Once you have this working, disable autorun for the pseudo-CD (so the loader won't run when you insert the device) and disable or remove cdloader2 (so the loader won't run on reboot).
AFAIK, the only way to avoid the other visible aspects of MJ is to run it as a service, or under another user name. Search here for details.
Please describe your one ring problem in more detail. Does the caller get voicemail after just one ring? If not, can you answer after, say, 10 seconds and still get the call? What does the softphone show after your phone stops ringing? Will this test program http://tjnet.com/software/download/voip ... up1313.exe ring your phone more than once? (Stop the MJ app before running the test.)
Code: Select all
"C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Application Data\mjusbsp\magicJack.exe" /foreground /scf _magicJackPersonalDataRoot "F:\magicJack"
