Hi,
I order my MJ last friday, and it arrived in the mail on monday. Plugged it in, and work from the start. Had an issue with the sound being low, but after reading many post and tinkering around I'm now getting very good sound quality.
First let me say anyone who's thinking about getting MJ. It works and it's worth it. For $20 a YEAR for unlimited local and long distance calls, I don't care if none of the features work, that's worth it to me. Just be patient with any problems that my arise, read this forum and you should be able to figure it out.
But I do have a few questions about the voice mail.
Is there any way to turn it off, or to change how many rings until the voice mail picks up?
Is the voice mail supposed to work when my computers off, because I don't think mine does?
Thanks to everyone who participates in this forum.
And I'll be coming back to help anyone I can.
My review/voicemail questions.

I've been coming here for the last couple of weeks, and have read through A LOT of post. Have you ever used the search feature? Try typing in "voice mail" in the search feature and see how many returns you get and how many off topic results come up. Also, maybe someone has a different answer to these questions then what is in some of the older post.
Coincidentally, I just logged on to see the my question asked-
Re: Voice mail
Is there any way to turn it off, or to change how many rings until the voice mail picks up?
BTW - I too, used the search function first, before asking.
Using several relevant keywords/searches, I came up with such "useful" topics as:
-spoofing for dummies 101
-Renewals can only be done with credit card
-Fun with regedit and Speed Dial
-Get Your Grandcentral Invitation Here
etc, etc.
Would anyone be KIND enough to answer off the top of their head for us please
or perhaps point to a relevant previous post?
Many thanks!

the voicemail still works regardless if your computer is on or off, atleast that is my experience.

I still have trouble with the voicemail when my computers off. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it don't. But like I said for $20 a year, who care if the voicemail don't work at all? Everything else about my MJ works flawlessly, so I'm in love with my MJ.kulumbaa wrote: Is the voice mail supposed to work when my computers off, because I don't think mine does?

I'm looking to invest in one of them HP thin clients, then I don't have to worry about the voicemail not working when it's off.
