Hi,
Is there any way to disable this part of the softphone, and clear it out. I am not really happy with magic jack going into my favorites section of my browser.
Thanks

Hendersonmike,
if you will notice the softphone has a little heart on the upper right if you click it , it shows everything you have listed in your favorites in your web browser. Where I live we are having problems right now with our isp's now monitoring every where we go logging it, and selling the info to advertizers. Until we can stop them with a lawsuit they will continue to do it. I would like to be able to take this info out of the mj softphone ( just in case mJ is deciding to do the same thing) and two I really am getting tired of my privacy getting invaded whether I buy from Ebay, Amazon, or Joe blow down the street or visit Men who wear girly dresses, or a site on how to braid your back hair, its no ones business but my own. I didn't see the option to enter this into MJ nor a way to remove it.
Anyone else have any suggestions on how to remove this?

I believe that at the present time, you could use Firefox, run MJ as another user, run it as a service, run it in a virtual machine, or run it on a thin client. MJ could implement changes to make circumvention more difficult, but IMO it should not be too hard to keep your browsing reasonably private.verizondies wrote:Anyone else have any suggestions on how to remove this?

verizondies,
I too forgot that was there mainly because I have no use for it. If I want to go to my favs, I'm not about to bring up the softphone to click on favs to see my favs list in such a small window when I just click the start button and the full list will come up.
I don't know if making the favs file password protected after the fact would do any good or not.
But I'm not at all concerned about it.
