Navigate to the magicJack.exe file (typically in C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Application Data\mjusbsp), right-click, choose Properties, click the Version tab. It's possible, though IMO unlikely, that a new release would change a skin, DLL, etc., without updating the .exe file.

Yeah, you might be right about that. I assumed 'MagicFix' was more or less a compatibility/configuration utility but maybe there's more to it. The "Lucky You" upgrading splash screen is rather amusing
OK, I checked mine. I've got the same number (1.73.415.3). And why do I need that info? What does it tell me? Did someone switch the channels to another station? (Sorry, I must have stepped out during commerical break)

The developer upgrades the MJ software from time to time. These upgrades often include specific improvements and bug fixes. Accordingly, most users would like to verify that they have the latest and greatest version. Unfortunately, MJ does not offer a convenient means of checking this.
