IMPORTANT! Debit card users

Post by tokil »

If customer pay with a Debit Card, we automatically get the money since we can't put a hold status for such transactions. But, even if we got them billed we will still keep that bill as hold/pending on our end. If they decide not to continue with MJ and they're still under the 30 day trial period, then we will give back the charge as "refund".

I put mine on a debit card and they had a $1 charge against my account for the 30 days and then took the remainder after the 30 days expired.
Don't know what/where you got your info from.

Pyaing by debit card - hold vs. charge

Post by lakotabrown »

I think maybe it's an issue when you choose 'expedited shipping' and/or perhaps an additionl magicjack? Just a thought but in the 'fine print' it indicates that the shipping/extras are charged immediately. I'm guessing when they charged me the shipping it went ahead and processed the whole thing. Guess I should have put it on a credit card vs. a debit card - my bad!

That's how they did mine. For three days, they authorized $1 and then the money went back in until after my trial period. My money wasn't taken for almost 40 days, which drove me crazy because I don't like to wait to balance my checkbook.

They sent me an e-mail which told me exactly when the charges would be taken out. The final charge was a couple of days late but that's fine with me if it's just a couple of days.

Everything I've experienced so far is on the up and up.

I don't know what this complaint is about...

Here's the relevant information. Extra units and expedited shipping get charged up front. Regular shipping is the way to get your trial period.
