Taken from MagicJack customercare webpage:

Voicemail

Free voicemail is included in your magicJack purchase. To retrieve your voicemail, simply use your mouse to click the VOICEMAIL button on your magicJack softphone, or dial your own number (from any phone). At the automatated voice press the star (*) button. When prompted, enter your default password: 1234. Then follow the prompts to change your password, customize or retrieve your voicemail.

hope this helps...

Bill,

Yes, this helped now I have receved via e-mail notifications of voicemail messages. I am to use my extension number and press the * key to listen to them. Question: I never knew I had an 'extension'number. How do I find out what it is?

Thanks,

Accessing voicemail messages

Post by RAS108 »

To access voicemail msgs, I am told to dial my extension and, what looks to be the 'star' key and listen to the mail.

Question: I have never been informed what this 'extension' is to do this. How do I find that out?

Thanks

dail your MJ number, when the voicemail annoucement starts hit the star key it will ask for the password.

the default pass is 1234, with futher voicemail options you can change the password.
