What is the "Shelf Life" of the MJ Gizmo?

Does anyone have any idea as to how long the MJ gizmo should last? Thanks.

I didn't realize they were perishable... I've had mine for several months and it still looks and smells as fresh as the day I recevied it.

The flash memory is probably the only thing you would have to worry about wearing out at some point. However, I would be more concerned about how long the company will last.

I think I know what you are getting at... I have 2 issues that worry me a little, the first, which can be solved by using the extension cable is that by the time you plug in your phone line (a multi-jack with 3 lines in my case) and hang the dongle from a USB port it is quite heavy and extending straight out seems like it could damage the dongle (or your USB port). The second issue is that the dongle is plastic, and at some point, either moving your computer around or who knows what else, the dongle itself could be cracked or crushed. As far as the works go, a circuit board is a circuit board is a circuit board, and this one doesn't seem to get to hot, so it is only as good as it's weakest component, and is just as liable to burn out as any other circuit board in your computer, ipod, video console, etc... 8)
