Well, I'm so noob that I don't even have the first piece of equipment in hand yet, but have tracking #s for all but the Transcend flash. So, it looks like I can start on a new "hobby" this weekend.
Thanks to all of you knowledgeable folks for a very informative read.
Is ATCFWCHG.COM required even if you are using the Transcend DOM, or only if using a CF adapter? I searched, and could not find a down loadable copy of that COM file (closest I came was some torrent site which tried to hijack my laptop with . ads.).
The T5700 I have coming only has 192MB and I am not sure that I am up for the challenge of stuffing the MJ into that space, and am worried that the DOM won't be plug and play and I have no source for ATCFWCHG.COM. Help??
Thanks in advance.

Re: noob ATCFWCHG.COM question.
It is not required for the DOM. It's only needed with CFs that are labeled as removable disks. The Transcend DOM is a perfect fit replacement for the original DOM.lymon wrote:Well, I'm so noob that I don't even have the first piece of equipment in hand yet, but have tracking #s for all but the Transcend flash. On the other hand, there are worse things than being hijacked by . ads
