I've received a few calls lately from the Target .. It used to be that each local . would call you when your prescriptions were ready. Now, it appears they're doing it from a central location.
The number my Target . has is my GrandCentral number. So when their system calls, I do not get normal caller ID. Instead, it appears the incoming call is from "sip:64.0.147.6:5070". This is, of course, my local losangeles proxy.
So, does this tell me anything? Does the Target . callout system use a mJ? Or is it just likely another VOIP provider, connecting to mJ servers using SIP?
Incoming caller ID: sip:64.0.147.6:5070

its had to say, are you using the spoofer app that has the option to recive blocked CallID, i find when people call me from a private Canadian cell phone(Tellus Mainly), i get that(but with my local proxy) but only when the spooffer app is open
so it may just be a blocked number and magicjack is trying to make sense of it,
i also noticed when im using x-lite all incoming calls are from (sip:therenumber@proxyip:5060)
my guess is they went to a central call center maybe sip/maybe not and the call id is blocked,
its just a guess let us know if you find out more

I have noticed this in general for incoming calls via GC......I assumed it is the fact that GC and MJ share some of the same DID carriers such as Level3 so the calls are being routed within the same carrier's network....GuyOnTheAir wrote:I've received a few calls lately from the Target .. I'm using the Call Spoofer, however, only the Target calls seem to come in with the SIP stuff. Regularly calls from friends and such do not show weird caller ID, but regular IDs.
Hmmm. But you might be right. I did just get another call with blocked or private caller ID and got the same SIP info. That might be the answer.
