Wi-Max Communications Test Number

Post by Saint Down Load »

If I pick up my phone and get a dial tone, enter 1, push Dial on the MagicJack window, I get three tones and a man saying, "You have reached the Wi-Max communications test number, this call was succesfull"

Does anyone know what that is?

Saint Down Load,

I have no idea what it is for. I dialed it on my MagicJack phone system (not the softphone) and received the same response as you. It also sends three touch tones before and after the guy tells you "this call was successful".

I dialed it on my MagicJack phone system and received the same result. I don't know what it is about.

It's not "Wi-Max", it's "YMAX". Which is the name of MagicJack's parent company.
