I shut down my pc at night and boot it up in the morning is there a problem doing this? It seems to start the MJ without a problem. Thank you for your answers.
Some users have reported that for about one hour after shutdown, incoming calls are not correctly routed to voicemail, but instead get dead air, fast busy, or an error message.
I don't think that there would be a problem, MJ should not care if it is turned off at night. I'm doing the same thing running it on my laptop and only turning it on when I need to make long distance calls. When the flash memory for my thin client arrives, I'll probably move it to that and run it 24/7, but until then I turn the laptop off when not in use.
EDIT: apparently there can be issues, per Stewart's post. Sorry.

More good info. I did not know that, not having received any incoming calls except for testing. Thanks!
