Drivers for the MagicJack?
Has anyone isolated the drivers for the MagicJack? I can't seem to get mine to work with the PnP feature.

What does Plug-n-Play have to do with your drivers?Crowbar wrote:Has anyone isolated the drivers for the MagicJack? I can't seem to get mine to work with the PnP feature.

Re: Drivers for the MagicJack?
George, I recently acquired the HP T5710 TC and when I plugged in my MJ Windows did not fire up the Found New Hardware wizard for reasons that i have not been able to identify so far -- so under those circumstances where Plug-n-Play does not work the way it should work it would be helpful to know how to get a hold of the needed drivers.HolmanGT wrote:What does Plug-n-Play have to do with your drivers?
In my case I had to manually install the drivers for the 'USB Internet Phone by Tiger Jet' to get my telephone handset to work. Admittedly Windows is usually very goos at spotting New Hardware etc. but with the amount of mods being made to TC's sometimes glitches do occur.
mozerd,
Did something not install right? did you get a message that it could find this or that file, if so I can help you with that.
As far as getting you hands on the drivers I doubt that will ever happen. The MJ files are encrypted and the system reinstalls itself every time you plug it in or reboot. Part of their intellectual knowledge protection scheme.
