Faxing

Has anyone been able to send faxes over a MJ? Tried to send a fax today, the number connected, but during the transmission it would disconnect and I would get a dial tone.

Set the fax modem speed to 9600 and it should go through. Faster speeds have trouble.

Thanks for the reply, but I do have fax set at 9600. Note that I am trying to fax through software on the computer and not through a fax machine.

MIne sends but only at 7200 and only with a backwards DSL filter installed on the line.

Instead of getting a fancy fax machine or anything I just can my documents and send it via faxzero. I use it whenever i need to fax, which is pretty rare, but i am happy with their serivce.
