I selected a new phone number in my area code when it became active. But the old number is still being used by the MJ. Tech support chat reset my account and had me do the usual things, restart MJ, unplug MJ from usb, restart pc wait 24 hours and try again...bla,bla,bla,bs. It is still using the old number and now they said it takes 30 days until the new number goes into effect. That 30 days is only supposed to be for voicemail, so I thought. If so, then why did they have me go through all that restarting etc. to try and make the new number work?
Did anyone else change their number and have to wait so long to use it?
I also notice that when I log into my account, both numbers show up and the old one is listed first.

I have no idea how long it takes for the new number to start working but 30 days sounds a bit too long. Email dan with your issue...sorry i dont have his email, im too lazy to search for it but im sure someone here will be kindly enough to give it to you.

Yes, I can forward the new number to the old one and that does work. But when I call out it still uses the old number id.
Thanks for that info, at least now if someone wants to call me from my local area it won't cost them.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you're going to have to deal with tech chat and try to get your issue escalated.
