What could be wrong?

My brother's overseas and he has a Magicjack.

I've already talked to him several times using MY Magicjack, meaning a magicjack-to-magicjack setup and in general the connection quality's been good.

Using the magicjack, he has also called my regular land-line number and again it's been very good.

However, whenever I call his magicjack either using my regular land-line phone or my magicjack, although he's sitting at his PC at that time with Magicjack running , it's always his voice mail that I get. It never rings on his end and my connection almost instantly goes to his greetings message. Any idea what could be wrong?

Is it someting with the setup, or what? any ideas?

One has to wonder if the Internet routing isn't messed up. Perhaps the system isn't finding his jack way over there for some strange reason known only to the keepers of the Great Firewall.
