Works GREAT but no local number.

Got MJ yesterday and easily installed in about 3 minutes. It works great and sound quality is very good. Only problem is no local number. Everyone who lives near me has to dial long distance to get me. This is a deal breaker and I will return MJ if no local number by return date.

I am guessing you did not check this list before ordering?

Why does everybody refer people to grandcentral knowing good and well that they are not accepting any new people.
They make it sound like an immediate solution to the local number problem. I have signed up for it but my local city is not listed with them either, so it may not be everybodies solution.

As far as getting your local number, try emailing Dan. Thats what I did. He got back to me within an hour and told me they would try to get my local.

Unfortunatly though, he emailed the next day saying my city is not yet available.

When I bought my MJ I knew there was no local number for me, but thats ok as I use it for long distance. It works awsome. Best 40 bucks I ever spent.

It might not be a solution for you, but it might be for someone else. True, Grandcentral is not offering invitations now, but you can still request to reserve a number IF you want to.
