This same problem has been covered SO many times in this forum. In fact, I had the same trouble a month and a half ago, but by searching, then seeking out advice from active forum members, I was able to fix it. I dont' have the links available right now, but if you search around I'm sure you'll find your solution.

What worked for me was downloading a Tiger Jet SDK demo testing program that I used to override my windows sound settings and increase my volume output.

Hope that helps.

Don't give up just yet, these things aren't perfect but they're trying to resolve the issues like the one you and many others have. I had this same low output volume and found this link to download new software and voila, the output volume is every bit as good as my landline phone.

Here is a direct link to download the latest Update from Magicjack if you have trouble finding it.

Doc,

I just ran the software on mine and it worked fine. You can tell if you have the updated version by the volume window in MJ. If you don't have the OK or cancel boxes to click on when window is open, then you have updated version and the volume window needs to be closed using the x. A friend of mine was having the same low volume output and this worked for them also. How old is your MJ?

Tnx

Try going to the Magic Jack box that appears on the desktop.
Click on Menu at the top and then in the drop down click on
make sure telephone is checked in the circle and under
Volume/Headset Control, drag the Speaker bar all the way
to the right.
Can't say it'll work for everyone but it seems to have worked for me.

That solution worked for me as some people were complaining that it was somewhat hard to hear me. It would be nice if the software would save the slider settings instead of defaulting to 50% output, because you have to manually reset the slider(s) each time you restart the softphone.
