The company has several patents pending, including one for a wireless MagicJack that lets users with wireless networks have access to the service whether their computer is on or off, Borislow said.
“Rather than have them try to plug it into a modem and figure out where the Ethernet cables go, they can just plug it into the wall and it self-configures.”

I love it! I'm not exactly sure what the last statement means but it sounds good. Of course, technology is replete with examples of vaporware, but it's nice to have a goal. BTW, am I the only one who's noticed my MJ seems to be working better than ever lately?

Was having the same thoughts the other day.... I have it plugged into the whole house and running as a service, and I realized that a long time has gone by without even thinking about it... I forgot I was even using it as my main phone! The music on hold that just showed up recently was the first time it reminded me I had a MJ.

When you put a caller on hold, they will hear music.
In the same exact way you hear music when you call companies and they put you on hold.

So if you switch to the other line, the person will hear music until you come back. If you put them on hold (press flash), they will also hear music.
