Forum ops, any ideas on fixing this?

This is more painful that using a 1200 baud dialup connection.
The membership would double overnight if this was hosted by a
faster server.

The admins are aware of this prob.......the only out would be to move this forum to another provider and could cause it to be a "paid by member" forum site.

I spoke with the board owners and they are looking at solutions. It would not be "paid by member" but most likely another reliable free host or paid hosting supported by advertising. There might even be member perks if the board goes the advertising route.

I hope it happens soon, it's getting really frustrating having the forum page jump to 'makeforum.org all the time or taking too long to load the website.

True, the forum has been very slow--until now, that is. I was a pain to navigate to different forums due to the wait. This is the first time I have come to this forum and able to navigate with relative ease.
