v1.2?
Interesting. You have version 1.2. The jacks I have are all v1.1. Anyone know what changed with the MJ hardware?Emdev2 wrote:
This is magicJack Revision 3.0 Version 1.3
It was purchased a near the start of December.
The thing to note is the "Magic Chip" in the pictures I've posted is an 80-pin QFP package.
The previously posted pictures of Revision 1.0, Version 1.3 show a 100-pin QFP (yep, I counted them). This chip is most likely a stock Tiger560C or Tiger581 according to the chip datasheets on the TigerJet website since both are available in a 100-pin Quad Flat Pack (QFP) package.
This new Revision/Version is using "something else" although it is most definitely using TigerJet tech within it. Considering the Tiger560C has a lot of features unnecessary to this device, I suspect they did a design-shrink to using the Tiger581 or a variant of it.
If you have a different Revision or Version, please post pictures.
